Now out of print, Rain was my introduction to the world of recording.
It was recorded in 2002 on my newly acquired Yamaha AW4416 in my home.
Guided by Charlie Groves (who helped out on guitars), it was a collection of worship songs - some of which we used extensively at CHS.
Gordon Miles played bass and organised the Musicanti Chamber Orchestra to help out with the strings on Finally Home and Rain/The air I breathe, while Kerryn Torrance played the violin on Thief and also sang with me on The air I breathe.
Although this is far from a professional recording, there are a number of songs that still stand out for me.
Thief is beautiful song of confession and The air I breathe is still one of my favourite recordings.
